PEER REVIEW POLICY

The International Journal of Emerging Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (IJEMRI) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure high quality, fairness, and academic integrity of published research.

Double-Blind Review Process

In this system:

• The identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers.
• The identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authors.

To maintain anonymity, authors must remove all identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgments, funding details, etc.) from the main manuscript file before submission. Reviewers are selected based on their subject expertise and are expected to provide objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations.

Review Process & Timeline

• Initial Screening: All submissions are first reviewed by the editorial team for scope, originality, and basic formatting (usually within 3–7 days).
• Peer Review Stage: Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers. The peer review process typically takes 2–4 weeks.
• Final Decision: Authors are notified of the editorial decision within 6–8 weeks from the date of submission (subject to reviewer availability).

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

• Originality and novelty of the research
• Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
• Soundness of methodology and scientific rigor
• Quality of data analysis and interpretation
• Clarity of presentation and organization
• Contribution to the existing body of knowledge

Editorial Decisions

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor may take one of the following decisions:

• Accept
• Minor Revisions
• Major Revisions
• Reject

If revisions are required, authors will receive detailed reviewer comments and are expected to submit the revised manuscript within the given timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be sent for additional review if necessary.
