Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Emerging Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (IJEMRI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows best practices to prevent publication malpractice.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

• Authors must ensure that their manuscript is original, accurate, and has not been published elsewhere.
• All forms of plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, and data falsification are strictly prohibited.
• Authors must properly cite all sources and acknowledge the contributions of others.
• All co-authors must have significantly contributed to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript.
• Authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

• Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions based on the academic merit of the manuscript.
• Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.
• Editors should not use unpublished material for their own research without proper permission.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

• Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner.
• Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and must not use any information from the manuscript for personal gain.
• Any conflict of interest must be declared to the editor.

4. Handling of Malpractice

Any suspected misconduct (plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, etc.) will be thoroughly investigated. If malpractice is proven:

The manuscript will be rejected (if under review).
The published article may be retracted with a retraction notice.
The authors’ institutions and funding bodies may be notified.

5. Retraction and Correction Policy

The journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when required to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record, as per international best practices.

The journal is committed to academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices. All stakeholders (authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher) are expected to adhere to these ethical standards.
